Exam Papers - National Senior Certificate (NSC) and September Exams (Provincial)

Core Topics:

• Finance: Covers income, expenditure, profit/loss, budgets, cost and selling prices, interest (simple and compound), taxation (including VAT and UIF), loans, inflation, and exchange rates.

• Measurement: Focuses on conversions, perimeter, area, volume, capacity, temperature, speed, distance, time, and body mass index (BMI).

• Maps & Plans: Includes interpreting scales, distance tables, elevation plans, and various diagrams.

• Data Handling: Involves data collection, organization, summarization (mean, median, mode, range, quartiles), and representation through various graphs and charts.

• Probability: Introduces basic probability concepts, tree diagrams and two-way tables.

• Level 2: Applying routine procedures in familiar contexts – 30%

• Level 3: Applying multi-step procedures in a variety of contexts – 20%
